1. La Fregate Cafe

This popular café is part of Jerseys famous Waterfront and became a local landmark long before it opened for business in November 1997.

Designed by Will Alsop of international architects Alsop & Stormer, the outline of La Frégate can be seen all round the sweep of St Aubin's Bay. Inspired by the site's maritime history and seafront location, Will drew out a building in the shape of an upturned boat. We were very luck to have Tony Bullimore, of South Atlantic fame, open the café for us in 1997.

The café is just a stones throw from the causeway leading to Elizabeth Castle, so why not relax and enjoy the views of St. Aubins Bay.
