On Tuesday morning, December 29, 2008 Virginia Gunderson drove me and my Gigapan up South Mountain onto property her great grandfather homesteaded in the 1860s. The view of Santa Paula is from about the same elevation as the pano I took of South Mountain a month or so earlier. The Santa Clara River is in the center with the Santa Paula Airport next to it.

Fabulous! John. I'm looking forward to getting my first Gigapan shots in the next few weeks. Right now the weather in the Edmonton area is bitterly cold...around -25C so I might have to do some indoor shooting. I'll be using a Panasonic Lumix LX2 with a Leica lens. I have been thinking of adding a G10 to my camera arsenal as well. Q. How many shots are there in this Panorama? Posted by Darbs |

Great Pan John! Nice stitching. Too bad you didn't own that property now! I just finished a Pan of Stanford Memorial Church. Check it out! Posted by jturley |
