This view shows the area of reclaimed (from the sea) land now developed to the south of St. Helier Harbour, the tip of Elizabeth Castle breakwater can be seen at the right. The site of the new (and controversial) "Energy from Waste" plant, at the start of the construction phase, is currently hidden behind La Colette Power Station (the large square building left of centre).

Excellent gigapan John. Much more interesting and relevant than pictures of the alps or sunny views of the countryside imo. You seem to have got the hang of the imager now! More like this please - and don't forget the magic word: geocode! Posted by Kilgore661 |
