This view shows the area of reclaimed (from the sea) land now developed to the south of St. Helier Harbour, the tip of Elizabeth Castle breakwater can be seen at the right. The site of the new (and controversial) "Energy from Waste" plant, at the start of the construction phase, is currently hidden behind La Colette Power Station (the large square building left of centre).
