226042x21693px image will make you surprised of the details and the hiden places that could be seen. This is I thing the widest view of the town Kocani where the alomost 70% of the town is visible.

This is the hand made panorama with predicted overlaping. I thought will never complite the result I got. Before last step corrections the pano was between 6-7Gpx, but in order to get the nice composition and quality it was cropped in Photoshop to 5Gpx. At the begining I almost reached the Photoshop limit of 300.000 px. Amazing experiance and result if you exclude the little visible mistakes. And the 30Gb file was uploading for ages.

PANORAMA FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TOWN COULD BE SEEN HERE:
ПАНОРАМАТА ОД ДРУГАТА СТРАНА НА ГРАДОТ МОЖЕ ДА БИДЕ ВИДЕНА НА СЛЕДНИОВ ЛИНК:

Very nice and large panorama. Great job. Is that really your family in the photo? Also, are you the Zoran from Chicago?

Congratulations! Looks like you got past the upload problem you encountered. City gigapans often have many details to explore. This one looks like it will have a lot.

A perfect example of a gigapan in my book: very big, loads of detail, shows a place that not many people know about or will ever see (I guess?) in real life. It is astonishing that you have created such an enormous gigapan without a robot. You deserve a medal!

Wonderful detail, Zoran, and lots of explorability! It must have taken a lot of patience to shoot this without a GigaPan robot, but the results are well worth the effort. I understand that you used Photoshop to clean up the stitched image, but what program did you use for the original stitching job? Also, what camera did you use? It's curious that the uploader (?) assigned it a width of 360 degrees and a height of 0 degrees - clearly neither is correct - must be a bug. I'd love to see you shoot some of the geologic features of the region, if you get a chance. Keep up the great work!

Hallo everyone. Finnaly is time to write something after all this nice comments. I'm really pleased that reached such a success. For information the pano was taken with Nicon D-300 lensess 300mm (equ. 450mm). Stiching the pano of the photos that are not in the correct row and collumns was a such a tedious job, but think worted at the end. Had some problems with the weather humidity. In this region one needs to wait for the middle autmn to get an ideal weather for the cristal cliar picture. Hope to surprise you with more from ANCIENT MACEDONIA.

really, really excellent work. completely dispels the idea that you need some fancy shmancy robot to make these sorts of images-- and the fact that you had to reduce resolution from 6-7 gigapixels is just out of control. nice, can't wait to see more!
