You can find many stores like this in north of Iran. In this store everything can be found: honey, dolls, cookies, chess, etc. This is why I call it "everything-can-be-found" store :)

		Kilgore661, :) Actually I am not able to geo-code this gigapan because Iran's roads are not properly named on Google Earth (and in details). I often find the location of gigapans taken in Tehran (the capital of Iran, where I live) and geo-code them, but this photo is taken when I was on a trip and I can't find it on Google Earth. I hope I had one of those memory cards that records the location, or at least a GPS. Thank you for your interest. Posted by payam195r

		Iran is a big country. I would be happy to know where it was taken to the nearest 50 miles, although perhaps that's not in the spirit of geocoding. Posted by Kilgore661

		After all I guess I found it. Because I am not 100% sure that it is correct, I will not geo-code it on gigapan. If not exactly, it is somewhere near Chalus, Mazandaran, North of Iran. You can view the location on Google Map: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=36.646171,51.413103&z=17&t=h&hl=en Make sure to copy the whole URL, because gigapan has not linked it correctly. 		Thanks for the geographical information. I now know just a little bit more about Iran (I didn't realise Iran bordered the Caspian Sea) which is exactly the sort of thing that gigapan is all about. Your shot has inspired me to find interesting local shops that depict my culture and gigapan them - watch this space. PS I see what you mean about the geocoding of roads in Iran. It's outrageously bad - not even the major roads are shown correctly. Something most be done! If you want to start a Campaign for Egalitarian Accurate Geocoding of Major Thoroughfares then I will sign your charter. Posted by Kilgore661

		I am really happy that it was useful for you, as you mentioned, Gigapan is all about knowing new places and for people to be closer. Actually there are many reasons that the roads are not shown correctly with details in Iran on Google Earth (which I guess I don't know many of them). For example, for a short period all streets were correctly shown in Tehran with high details, but now they are removed, I guess because of political reasons (sanctions may be). 		Having this store location identified by geocoding is not the issue. The real issue is.. that by placing it in to Google Earth via geocoding ... true-to-life field curvature is created thus providing the viewer with a realistic visual observation of the store and its contents within Google Earth. All you have to do is to select a lake or whatever as your location ... it does not matter :) Posted by Texas_Photo

		I for one find it sad how many of my friends buy toy guns for their kids right here in the US of A. I think violence is a probably we have some strong equity in, although we certainly don't have a monopoly. How sad.. Posted by illah

		Jason Kutcher (robotchicken), The Gigapan people gave me the choice to remove your comment, but I said no, because I think you are free to express your ideas (unless you insult (you did a bit!)). I want to mention some points here: 1. I’m not a fan of war and I’m not a fan of violence. 2. UNFORTUNATELY you can find these kinds of toy guns (and other signs of violence) all around the world. 		I didn't realize my comment would generate such a stir. @ Payam 1) I never said you were a fan of violence. I believe the only thing I said related to you specifically was that you took a beautiful picture. 2) I agree as well. 3) Good for you! I have nothing but respect for that. It must be difficult living in Iran, where they actively persecute and often murder Bahá'ís. Tough for freedom to survive in such a place... 4) Again, I said it was a beautiful pic.
