This hanging bridge is at the Bosque del Cabo lodge on the Osa peninsula of Costa Rica. It's near Corcovado National park.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corcovado_National_Park The forest near the stream would probably be called primary growth. There might be monkeys. macaws, sloths, parrots in the trees. Puma and tapir have been seen near the stream. A day later, I saw a troop of coatis near the bridge. Alas, this was mid-afternoon and not the best time for seeing animals. |

A first test with the Fujifilm FinePix REAL 3D ´W1´ digicam. An interesting pretty small 3d-cam with 77mm stereobase. Many problems (jumps in perspective, etc) have to be resolved and many tests have to be done ( stitching methods, maximum possible image size, etc..). I consider this a nice challenge.
BTW: the 3D-jobs such as calibration, stereobase aligning, re-calibration of far-point, adding anaglyph-colors (etc..) are done with the freeware ´Stereophotomaker´ (ver. 4.12). Many thanks to the developpers for that splendid software! Many thanks to Werner Bloos for the german translation of this program! This is an anaglyph for red/cyan (or red/blue) goggles. |

This north end of the lake has the nicest beaches where glacial rivers built deltas 13,600 years ago. The northernmost part of the lake, to the right, is surrounded by a low sandy plain which is the largest delta complex. This plain is the location of Camp Keewaydin, Camp Songadeewin, and some of the older summer cottages.
I was waiting for a clearer day to retake this panorama from August 1, but it never happened. The distant landscape is so hazy that the stitcher added an extra mountain ridge. Now I realize that I am the only one who would ever notice that. |

427 cubic inchs of muscle, a sports car body, and great styling make this a classic. Dave and Yvonne have fun with this. Photo taken at the Good Guy's show in Pleasanton California |
