Reshoting with a different camera. The difference is obvious. Here is the one for comparison: http://gigapan.org/gigapans/32339.
I am having a beta-version EPIC which is too narrow to use for some of my cameras, such as the one used for this gigapan, Canon PowerShot SX20 IS. With some DIY modification (or DIM, do it myself, precisely), I made my beta-EPIC functioning as an EPIC100, enabling working with some large cameras and DSRL cameras. This gigapan is one of the results. |

The trees are growing in front to the overlooks. I had to set the camera up on the very edge of a cliff to get the view to include New York City, and even then I only got midtown, and the Empire State building is in the trees (far right edge). The interstate highway is Route 80. Paterson has a rich history, and is New Jersey's third largest city. The Great Falls (gigapan coming soon) of the Passaic River are in Paterson, which are the second-highest large-volume falls on the East Coast of the United States. |

Just out of Davenport Iowa is the I-80 truckstop, dubbed the worlds largest truckstop. I'll let you be the judge of that.
How many "IOWA 80" logos can you find in this pan? this shot was taken with an Olympus 1030SW point and shot which is impressive given there is no way to lock focus and exposure |
