SOZ Cafe is an attempt to construct a commercial base cafe with the REMO building blocks. Many people visited here during the exhibition and enjoyed foods and drinks while they played with the Carpenter blocks. |

SOZ Cafe event was held at Shibakawa building in Yodoyabashi, Osaka. Shibakawa building was constructed in 1927 and selected as a cultural property. The exterior is so unique that you can see the influence of Maya / Inca civilization. |

This was taken from the same spot as the lollapalooza image but the north and south gardens were combined in the stitcher. Can you tell where this photo was spliced together? |

I took this panorama of the Portland Art Museum at the southern park blocks in Portland, Oregon. I used a Canon G9 with a 2x teleconverter using a Gigapan robot. I did not put new batteries in and the unit instructed me to change the batteries half way. I replaced the batteries and when I turned the robot on, it asked me if I wanted to finish the panorama. I came close to being able to stitch the entire panorama, but I moved the camera slightly, so I will need to stitch the other half separately. An inebriated vagabond took displeasure at my concern for my camera and returned later to spit on me. A sorry fellow :) There are some very nice sculptures between the buildings. The film center is on the left. The film center has a nice international film festival at the end of February and beginning of March. You may enter the Portland Art Museum at the front of the building on the left. |
