A *fixed* edition of an image created for a research paper i'm completing on using mixed media in the form of massive-resolution digital images and poetry. The image was created using the Ascii Art Generator found here: http://www.glassgiant.com/ascii/ and consists of 400-letter long rows. The final text was loaded into a layer in photoshop where I added my own text and phrases over specific locations on the image. The original version of the imagecan be viewed here: http://gigapan.org/gigapans/36935/ |

Most of the art galleries in/near downtown Honolulu have simultaneous exhibit openings on "First Friday" of every month. These coordinated events also lure street musicians, jugglers, etc., along with many residents and tourists.
This gigapan was particularly challenging due to the inside/outside exposure effects, and especially the uncontrollable revelers attending the opening. ;^) |

A 360 of the former office of Peter Britos, former Director of the Hawaii State Art Museum.
Amazing enough, Pete sat still for 21 frames! He is now Associate Professor of Communication and Multimedia Program Chair at Hawaii Pacific University, Honolulu. You can see the panorama "in the round" by viewing it on Google Earth. This one is 7R x 40C. |

Coca Cola no doubt intended for this park to be used by business types, or perhaps for the students of the local university, Georgia Tech. Alas, Atlanta does not take good care of its citizens and the park is used as a place to sleep for the many homeless. And Georgia Tech students are kept from the park by a fence, or perhaps the residents of the park are kept from Georgia Tech. |
