How many times can we be seen in this panorama of my friend's backyard?
Take snapshots for each of us. |

My Second try with my new Gigapan! |

Our new backyard on Division street in Guelph. The dog and the people are pretty happy with it!
Took out two columns of photos to make a < 360, but it stiched as 360. That's the seam on the edge of the garage. The house is on the Municipal Register of Cultural Heritage Properties Non-Designated Properties list (Burcher-Stokes Properties) in Guelph - largely for a window with semi-elliptical arch and keystone on the front of the house. http://guelphmercury.blogs.com/59_carden_st/2009/05/are-you-on-the-list.html http://guelph.ca/uploads/PBS_Dept/planning/heritageguelph/Registry/Heritage_Directory_properties_interest.pdf pg 49 of 263 page pdf. |

A test to make sure all pieces are working, focus, exposure, light balance. Finally!
From the snapshots you can see it's a fairly tranquil place here in late fall. |

I was on my way out of Salina, Kansas when I came upon this remarkable cluster of birdhouses in someone's backyard. Too bad it's the middle of winter - no birds at home. |
|
First picture taken. Should have turned off the pool cleaner (see the breaks on the tube). Too much overlap (takes long time to process). |

Looking out off the back porch of the Ludwig family house in Round Hill, VA. |

A backyard, neighbors, and a pond in Ashburn, Virginia. And we can see a deck/patio project in the future...
Shot on 12 October 2008 with a Ricoh GX-100; 9x3. PP in PhotoShop CS3: Curves, Smart Sharpen (100 @ 1.1 pixels) There is a bit of a glitch in the "leftern" sky...I think the camera was on auto white balance. A quick check shows one stitching error. |

To keep the dogs attention so it wouldn't move, I had to keep making noises while the camera was taking the shots. Woof-Woof! Barstow, California, High Desert USA. Station depot, museum building Casa Del Deseirto. Railcars, gravel pile, mountains, houses, flying bird and dog in backyard. Barstow, one of the busiest railroad depots in the southwest. Constant train traffic makes for excellent 'Foaming' (train watching). Nikon P5100, 12mp, 60 images. ©John Post |
