There is a bench at this viewpoint that served us well when we watched the last rays of the day pass over the hills. It was a quicker walk back down than it was to get up here. I saw a cute little bobcat on the way down that looked like a hefty house cat with a short tail. |

People come to Morgan Territory Regional Wilderness for many reasons. It was a clear day so I went for the easy high view. A group of people came out to train their search and rescue dogs. I have seen these dogs follow a scent through the woods, across an open canyon, and up the hill to the rocks on the right. The dog was very nice and so was the owner that followed. |

Morgan Territory is a remote place surrounded by Bay area population centers. On this November day it was the location for search and rescue exercises using rescue dogs.
