This is the Paddock area of the 24h Le Mans Race 2009. I shot the images at 3 a.m. at night. It took about 90minutes due to using the self timer of the cam, a 2sec. exposure time and a 10 sec. Giga Pan delay to prevent the pictures from blurring. I don´t no why.. but in some pix is blurring..? But stitching worked fine! 200 Pix in total! |

Coca Cola no doubt intended for this park to be used by business types, or perhaps for the students of the local university, Georgia Tech. Alas, Atlanta does not take good care of its citizens and the park is used as a place to sleep for the many homeless. And Georgia Tech students are kept from the park by a fence, or perhaps the residents of the park are kept from Georgia Tech. |

Hangar 1 of the Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum at Creve Coeur Airport (1H0), a hidden treasure of St. Louis, MO. Many of these vintage aircraft are in flying condition. Hangar tours ($10, weekends) are a must for plane fans anywhere near the St. Louis area. |

The town of North East, PA has a Wine Festival and car show every year. Yes, that's right, it is possible to make wine in Pennsylvania, as long as you're right next to a large body of water (like Lake Erie).

Each year up to 10,000 visiting aircraft - of all shapes, sizes and varieties - make Oshkosh the busiest airport in the world. This gigapan was shot Saturday morning. It only has a few bad spots in the stitching caused by people walking in front of the lens.
This shot includes: f-16 , falcon , f-15 , c5m galaxy , c-17 globemaster iii , c-130 , erickson sky crane , dc-3 named “duggy” , cv-2b caribou , p-51 mustang , a-10 thunderbolt , f4u corsair, e-2c hawkeye, ford tri-motor, b-17 flying fortress, pitts model 12, gulf stream to name a few. This was a fantastic event and had so many amazing aricraft new and old. I will be posting some videos from the event on youtube.com including the A380 taking off from Oshkosh 2009.
