A grade school swim meet at St. Catherine University. This is a hand-held panorama with a Nikon D3 in five columns x 3 rows. |

Outside in the playground area of the Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Florida. Next door is the American Victory ship which is open for tours. Looking down the channel towards Tampa bay. The large 2 on the building next door indicates that it is cruise terminal 2. |

Each year up to 10,000 visiting aircraft - of all shapes, sizes and varieties - make Oshkosh the busiest airport in the world. This gigapan was shot Saturday morning. It only has a few bad spots in the stitching caused by people walking in front of the lens.
This shot includes: f-16 , falcon , f-15 , c5m galaxy , c-17 globemaster iii , c-130 , erickson sky crane , dc-3 named “duggy” , cv-2b caribou , p-51 mustang , a-10 thunderbolt , f4u corsair, e-2c hawkeye, ford tri-motor, b-17 flying fortress, pitts model 12, gulf stream to name a few. This was a fantastic event and had so many amazing aricraft new and old. I will be posting some videos from the event on youtube.com including the A380 taking off from Oshkosh 2009. I hope you enjoy and please email with comments! http://www.airventure.org/ |

This is a more artistic attempt than any of my previous work. Instead on single panoramic view, this is a selection of snapshots I took during a trip to Crystal Beach, Texas. Most of them are individual snapshots but I also included two legitimate, though small, panoramas that I took by hand. Comments and snapshots are welcome. |

This is my first Gigapan by using manually fixed camarea settings like it should.
Unfortunately it was cloudy (real dutch weather) and late in the day, so the lighting wasn't very easy. The playing kids were giving funny results. Some of them are shown twice (or 1.5 times). The street in the foreground is a busy route leading to the center of town. About a hundred cars past the Gigapan, while it was taking the 320 photo's. Amazingly only 2 or 3 times a car was caught on camera (but then you only have to stop the Gigapan and redo the last 2 photo's ). |

SeaWorld Orlando is one of the eight world class theme parks in Central Florida. Of all the parks, this is one of my favorites for a fun relaxing day in a beautifully landscaped area with all sorts of neat sea animal exhibits and shows. It also features a couple adrenaline rides like the coaster Kraken and the Journey to Atlantis water ride. The free beer samples at the Annhauser-Busch Hospitality House doesn't hurt either. This shot is of 'Shamu's Happy Harbor' an area of SeaWorld that is themed for young children. From a mini roller coaster to lots of other rides, the centerpiece is the giant rope playground. Standing five stories tall and filled with zillions of climbing ropes, crawl tunnels, swings and other stuff, the playground will keep kids busy for hours. When it is time to cool off, there are ample spray fountains and splash areas. This picture was taken with a Canon Powershot G9. It was actually supposed to be a lot bigger, going another 40 degrees to the right but my 8GB memory card decided to fill up (on the 1,500+ shot) and I was hot and tired, so left it at that. |

This is a small section of the recently established communal garden located at the Oxford Community Arts Center, and it isprimarily used for teaching children many things about life through interactive gardening programs. It is a wonderful and growing resource for the community. |

Here is a second much smaller Oshkosh WI Air show panoramic. The one on the left was shot from the Canon viewing stand.
It includes: Airbus A380, F-16, Virgin Galactic “Eve” Mothership, Erickson sky crane , dc-3 named “duggy” , cv-2b caribou , p-51 mustang, just to name a few. This was a fantastic event and had so many amazing aricraft new and old. I will be posting some videos from the event on youtube.com including the A380 taking off from Oshkosh 2009.
