Robson Square in downtown Vancouver during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Notice the zipline in the top center of the image. The dipping zipline from the person using it made a continuous stitch kind of difficult.

Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin, Germany
The Gendarmenmarkt is a square in Berlin, and the site of the Konzerthaus and the French and German Cathedrals. The centre of the Gendarmenmarkt is crowned by a statue of Germany's poet Friedrich Schiller. The square was created by Johann Arnold Nering at the end of the seventeenth century as the Linden-Markt and reconstructed by Georg Christian Ungerin 1773. The Gendarmenmarkt is named after the cuirassier regiment Gens d'Armes, which was deployed at this square until 1773. During World War II most of the buildings were badly damaged or destroyed. Today all the buildings are restored to their former state. (From Wikipedia article.) 70696x21574 pixels, 275 (25x11) images, Canon G9 @ 200 mm equiv., LR 2.3 RC1, GP Stitcher 0.4.3864. |

This is an old elevated rail line that runs through lower Manhattan. It has been converted into a park and this view is from 17th street looking north. The scene was very high contrast, with white buildings in direct sun on the left side, and old dark red brick buildings in the shadow on the right side. I set the exposure to the street, but the white building are over exposed. |
