Telangana Garjana
LAKHS OF students roared for separate Telangana at Osmania University in Hyderabad in a rally organised by Telangana Vidyarthi Garjana (roaring of students) on Sunday (January 3) evening. As far as Telangna agitation is concerned, this is the biggest rally ever and students of all ten Telangana districts have participated voluntarily. Massive turnout The JAC leaders were addressing a massive gathering of students from the 10 districts of Telangana that thronged the “Vidyarthi Garjana” public meeting at Osmania University campus here on Sunday. The JAC gave a call for ‘rail roko’ and blockade of National Highways on January 5 in support of the demand for statehood to the region. Threatening to launch an agitation on the lines of Gujjars in Rajasthan, the JAC leaders said they could not be cowed down by the government which was bent on using lathis and bullets against the peacefully agitating students. |
