A recent article indicates that the building will be saved and made into an art museum: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/6781728.html named the Heights Arts Museum (HAM). The Houston Chronicle article goes on to say: Backing Kopriva's proposal are the Houston Heights Association and the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance, both of which have struggled to save the church, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

An article in the Houston Chronicle explains the situation for this old Gothic Revival Sanctuary, which has been closed for 10 years: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/star/6679903.html

This hand-held panorama was taken using a Nikon D70 and a Nikkor 28-80 f/3.3-5.6G lens and was stitched using the GigaPan Stitcher software and additional details can be found on Stitcher Notes with information there concerning the GigaPan Stitcher run.

The blue sky is empasized due to a Heliopan UV filter.
