This was my first attempt to do a 360 panorama until bunch of kids swarmed my position and start kicking my tripod to make it go out of alignment.
This is a 4 row task, upper 2 rows are EV+2 with the exposure setting, this time I took those pictures in RAW (NEF), ran a batch process to do RAW exposure compensation of EV-2. End result is much better exposed sky. http://flickr.com/photos/dayuantung/sets/72157607767360226/ |

Today we finally got a bit of sun, I decided to take the modded Gigapan out for a jog. With contrasty conditions, I manually set the exposure wrong at 1/500, F/5.6.

This is to use 300mm focal length to take some 391 pictures until I realized that it's progressing too slow.

Famous for its ancient rock art and more recently as a really great place to boulder (rock climb). |
