Bike the Drive is an annual event in Chicago, where Lake Shore Drive is closed to allow residents to ride their bicicyles along the lake front expressway. This was taken at the end of the event with stragglers heading to the finish line and celebration held in Grant Park. |

I uploaded the first view of this Gigapan on August 2, but I had cropped off some of the imagery on the left side because of stitching problems caused by cars and people moving. With a lot of help by my partner Katy, in Photoshop, we were able to bring the original photos in and fix the most glaring of these issues.
I used a Nikon D5000 and a 200mm lens. Note, I had problems uploading this image as a TIFF file and ended up saving it as a Photoshop Raw file before I could upload it now. |
