Yuri's Night 2008 at Moffett Field, CA .. birthplace of the GigaPan camera! Thanks to Gokhan Soydan for providing the closeups of the acrobatic airplanes from that day, and to Scott Telstad for his efforts putting it all together. See http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=5714 for a panorama from inside one of the hangars after nightfall. |

If only I could have gotten rid of the power lines... |

I'm a Gigapan beginner and I made this picture to test the depth of field of my new Canon G10. The steel frame of the glass window helps to check the sharpness. This gallery, by the way, is beautiful and next to the famous Grand'Place. |

Camera: Canon G-10. Conditions: low-light, planned to take w/ISO 400 but went with 100, +2 compensation, manual focus Note: I'm don't know why the upper part of the image in blurry; I imagine I did something wrong with setting up intial focus; very grainy, as expected, but can detect some subtle detail still

Extensive PS post processing to manually eliminate serious vignetting when the Canon SX110 is zoomed out max.
I had been waiting for a clear, partly cloudy day to catch the buildup of the thunderstorm over Stanford University. |

This past summer it was announced that Ryan had signed with the Baltimore Orioles: http://ncaabbs.com/showthread.php?tid=380272
During the past three seasons, Ryan was a very exciting pitcher to watch, especially for his friends from Hanszen College: http://tinyurl.com/yg9pay6 This panorama is of an exhibition baseball game: Rice vs. Texas State: http://tinyurl.com/ygjszuk. This hand-held panorama was taken using a Nikon D70 and a Nikkor 28-80 f/3.3-5.6G lens and was stitched using the GigaPan Stitcher software. Note: This 360-panorama can be seen in Google Earth as a curved panorama on a curved surface by clicking the link, View in Google Earth (assuming that you have Google Earth installed on your computer). |

Alfalfa field with a stream running through the middle of it. Hill of Dakota Sandstone on the left. Old farm with windmill on the right. At the right side of this 24 minute pan I had to adjust the exposure to keep up with the fading light. |
