Testing Stitcher with over 1200 photos Testing possible limitations with workstation. Macbook 4GB RAM 8GB SD HC Manual Exposure, and Autofocus enabled. Testing Beta Gigapan endurance (Ni-MH 2500mAh) Testing possible limitations with workstation. Macbook 4GB RAM Taken in FULL sun and Dark Shade, with Lots of Wind, and Changing Light conditions (Moving Clouds) Battery Lasted in Canon G9 and still shows full charge. 8GB SD HC Manual Exposure, and Autofocus enabled. I grilled some Lunch while waiting... Totally anonymous, no intervention. Taken with a Canon G9 camera mounted on a Gigapan Beta unit.
Stitched this image in two halves and then spliced together with photoshop in the middle. Worked with two 5GB+ Photoshop RAW files. About 1.3" second shutter with corrected Color Balance and Exposure settings. Focus was not fixed so there are a few grid squares where they are blurry. I was surprised to see the detail this shows. Know I know that I can take LARGE 360 Panoramas and stitch them together.
