How many times can we be seen in this panorama of my friend's backyard?
Take snapshots for each of us. |

Gothic Town Hall of Münster
backlighting shot in the sun! Town Hall (Rathaus ) - a gothic structure from the mid-14th century with its famous Friedenssaal (Hall of Peace). The Historical City Hall of Münster is one of Münster, Germany's principal landmarks. Located on the principal market is next St. Paul's Cathedral. It is known for its role in the negotiations of the Peace of Westphalia, which concluded the Thirty Years' War in Europe and the Eighty Years' War between Spain and the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands. Muenster's Prinzipalmarkt, St Lambert’s Church,
St. Lamberti – this hall church built between 1375 and 1450 owes its renown to the gruesome history surrounding the three cages suspended from the steeple of the church. In the mid 16th century they housed the bodies of the three leaders of the Anabaptist sect. The church also houses a “Türmer” (tower keeper) who each night proclaims the time with a copper horn. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%BCnster http://www.muenster.de/stadt/tourismus/en/old-town-area.html |

GigaPan Beta2 robot and Canon G9 camera - 138 images @ 210mm |
|
This gigapan is a macro gigapan shot using a Canon G9 and the beta mount. I just grabbed a bunch of junk lying on my desk to use as the subject for this gigapan. The bluriness is caused by the camera and gigapan vibrating at the end of my tripod when the normally-vertical mast is in the horizontal boom position. |

A photo for the virtual Easter egg hunt taken in the new park behind my house. This park is for bicycle riders to challenge their technical skills. Everything inside the fence is fair game! Approximately 40 eggs are hidden in the photo. The most interesting part of taking this photo was hiding the eggs. As I placed each egg, I had to look from the egg's point of view to ensure a clean line of sight back to the camera, otherwise the egg would not be visible in the photo. SF Love Parade 2008 getting down at san Francisco's Civic Center. This image is taken from 120 still images stitched with gigapan stitcher version 0.4.2735 photos shot with canon G9 mounted on the gigapan panoramic robot. Exposure was variable ( notice some exposure issues as a result ) but otherwise pretty good for such a large crowd of moving people. |

Taken with a Canon G9 camera mounted on a Gigapan Beta unit.
Stitched this image in two halves and then spliced together with photoshop in the middle. Worked with two 5GB+ Photoshop RAW files. About 1.3" second shutter with corrected Color Balance and Exposure settings. Focus was not fixed so there are a few grid squares where they are blurry. I was surprised to see the detail this shows. Know I know that I can take LARGE 360 Panoramas and stitch them together. Click here to view a closed quarter pano with about 90 degree view horizontally. http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=8442 View others in my Showcase: http://share.gigapan.org/searchGigapansList.php?keywords=showcase+skirtley http://yeltrik.net http://SteveKirtley.com |
