Going to a Pittwater beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches is a great way to spend a warm spring afternoon with the family. |

The film school at Chapman University. Shot with the beta imager, this is my first "big" image, comprised of 180 2-second exposures. There were constantly things moving in the scene, cars coming and going, students walking around, but none of them interfered with the shot. It was like it had all been choreographed, a very pleasing experience. Sometimes, I have all the luck...The light to the right of the building, appears to be burnt out. Otherwise, this would have proven to be quite the flare monster. |

The Silverwater Ziggural is at the south-western end of Sydney Olympic Park and provides an excellent view of surrounding areas.
It is an innovative method of disposing of large amounts of "unsuitable engineering fill" onsite rather than breaching the agreed position during the remediation of Homebush Bay of "no waste offsite". The artificial hill is stabilised by gabion walls and was originally known as a Millenium Marker. Due to changing light conditions and the desire to ensure the interpretive signs were readable, this gigapan was taking with autofocus and autoexposure. |

camera Canon G9 at 50% zoom 18% FOV, It was diffecult to get this shot and it took me 4 go's to get this one as their where plenty of people about that kept walking in front of the camera. The day was very gray, so i shot in raw and then using lightroom I tweaked the images to show a little more contrast then exported to Jpeg and stiched. |

Eversberg is a town with about 2000 inhabitants in Germany, in the county of North Rhine-Westphalia. The history of the town goes back to the 11. century when count Eberhard von Arnsberg founded the castle Eversberg. The castle today is received as a ruin. The town is well-known for its delightful historical local centre with houses in the timber framed houses. In 1981 the Eversberg won the national price "Unser Dorf soll schöner werden" as one of the most beautiful towns in Germany. Since 1975 Eversberg is part of the city Meschede. http://www.eversberg.de/start.html |

Wild Brumby makes schnapps in Australia's snowy mountains. They have quite a bit of sculpture on their property. Our kids enjoyed the big metal balls while we enjoyed a coffee.
See if you can guess which common scrap metal each of the spheres are made from. http://www.wildbrumby.com/ |
