This is the garden at the Barringer's, located in the Poconos near the Ashokan reservoir. Very pretty area.
This is the largest gigapan I've taken - 548 images. The focus was on nearby objects, so the house and further away trees tend to be a little fuzzy at high zoom. |

Bonsai Galore ! How many can you spot ? |

My first 360 panoramic with Gigapan! Taken fromt he center of the garden |

A view of the Front Range behind Colorado Springs, CO. To the left is Cheyenne Mountain with the cummunication towers on top. To the right is Garden of the Gods City Park. To the rear is Pike's Peak at 14,115 feet tall. |

One of our first gigapan images. Allowed the camera to determine focus, locked exposure, edited color and noise in post using Photoshop CS3. Sky and ground are blown out as a result of exposure lock, still working on technique to get finer exposure control with the small camera we're using. Thanks for viewing! |

The garden is part of the Devonian Botanical Garden administered by the University of Alberta. It's a favorite venue for weddings and there were three underway while I was shooting. If you look very carefully in the pond there's a Koi. On the original files you can nearly make out the scales.

What else do you on a wet, windy afternoon. This is a bit of an experiment (with an older model camera) as it has been taken through a double glazed window with a 8MP Samsung Pro 815 camera (now discontinued) it has a 15x optical Schneider-KREUZNACH zoom lens (28-420mm equiv.) manual zoom, no image stablisation system, but can record in Raw, TIFF or JPEG and a 500 shot battery, as well as a wealth of other photographic features. |
