This is a 290° panorama of Munich at night. I made the pictures on top of the Olympia tower (Olympiaturm). http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=6017
The viewing platform is around 195m above ground and you have a great view over the city. Due to strong winds I had some problems to get sharp images. 80 pictures at ISO 800, F4, focal length at 120mm. You can compare this image with the panorama I took during some other day. http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=10127 |

Nuremberg (Nurnberg) Castle is located on a sandstone rock in the north of the historical city of Nuremberg / Germany. It comprises three parts: the Emperor's buildings "Kaiserburg" (King's castle), "Burggrafenburg" , and the buildings on the eastern side "städtische Burganlage". The castle was damaged in the Second World War but then reconstructed; today it is one of the main landmarks in Nuremberg.

http://www.muenster.de/stadt/tourismus/en/old-town-area.html Münster's Old Town: A Spirited City Centre with an Exciting History Magnificent rows of historic buildings interspersed with modern architecture and contemporary works of sculptured art: Münster's historic Old Town is a spirited city centre where past and present meet. A unique selection of museums and exciting events fill the town with vibrant life. The Westphalian Museum of Art and Cultural History, the Pablo Picasso Museum of Graphic Arts and the Museum of Lacquered Art are all within walking distance from each other. Münster's City Museum and Municipal Theatre are also located in the Old Town. Münster's Prinzipalmarkt, St Lambert’s Church, the Town Hall commemorating the Peace of Westphalia, the Cathedral and its surrounding square are just a few of the city's architectural gems built during the past eight centuries. Münster is also a shopper's paradise offering top quality, distinctive products sold by local merchants in the main shopping areas along Prinzipalmarkt, Salzstraße as well as in the historic Rothenburg area and Kiepenkerl district. A variety of interesting shops can also be found along Ludgeristraße. In the heart of the city close to historic Prinzipalmarkt, the new shopping experience of the Münster Arcades connects the traditional shopping areas Ludgeristraße and Rothenburg. Typical of a university town, the pubs in the historic Kuhviertel area are a favourite of Münster's student population. A variety of old-fashioned restaurants throughout the Old Town serve traditional Westphalian fare. This unique combination of things to do and see in Münster makes visiting Westphalia's capital a truly memorable experience! |

The Key to the city is the symbol of Bremen. There should be at least three in this picture - could you find them? :-)
One snapshot I already added. From left to right you can see a Bank the entrance to the Bötcherstraße, the Schütting, a row of small houses, the town hall and the edge of the parliament (of the federal state Bremen). In front of the town hall you can find the Roland. see also: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bremer_Marktplatz |
