http://www.paulusdom.de/ Sankt-Paulus-Dom Cathedral of the catholic diocese of Münster St. Paulus Dom - the cathedral in its present form is primarily a 13th century work. Definitely not to be missed are the astronomical clock, a wonder of the late mediaeval period, the calendar of which extends to the year 2071, and the Domkammer, which, with its works of gold and cloth, numbers among the most important treasuries in Europe. |

This panorama was taken on a hot summer day in the Lustgarten, in front of the Berlin Cathedral and the Old Museum. To the right is the Palace of the Republic of the former East German Government, being dismantled. Behind it you can see the tower of the City Hall.

The Möhne Reservoir is an artificial lake in North Rhine-Westphalia, some 45 km east of Dortmund. The dam was built between 1908 and 1913 to help control floods, regulate water levels on the Ruhr river downstream, and generate hydropower. Today, the lake is also a tourist attraction. The lake is formed by the damming of two rivers, Möhne and Heve, and with its four basins stores as much as 135 million cubic meters of water.
