I was a bit in a hurry when we took this picture and the platform we were standing on was continuously swinging in the wind 50 meters above the ground, – that's why not every part of the image is as sharp as it should be.. some day I will do a new one. I'd like to thank the guys at 'Begemann's Mietlift' for helping me with this picture. My special thanks go to André and Klaus. Check out their website if you ever need a moving platform somewhere in northern Germany.. http://www.begemanns-mietlift.de size: 100000 x 8000 px printed size: 8.60 x 0.70m @ 300dpi 17.30 x 135m @ 150dpi 25.60 x 2.00m @ 100dpi 86,40 x 6,75m @ 30dpi ©2008 Markus Krueger Digital Park | neue medien http://www.digital-park.de |

My first real gigapan shot.
Eversberg is a town with about 2000 inhabitants in Germany, in the county of North Rhine-Westphalia. The history of the town goes back to the 11. century when count Eberhard von Arnsberg founded the castle Eversberg. The castle today is received as a ruin. The town is well-known for its delightful historical local centre with houses in the timber framed houses. In 1981 the Eversberg won the national price "Unser Dorf soll schöner werden" as one of the most beautiful towns in Germany. Since 1975 Eversberg is part of the city Meschede. http://www.eversberg.de/start.html |
