Photographed at the 3rd annual Ardrossan Vintage Tractor Pull near Ardrossan, Alberta just east of Edmonton.
The tractor connected to the belt on the threshing outfit is a 1924 Rumley Oil~Pull, and the truck is a 1951 Chev. There were more than 130 tractors of all vintages doing the pulling. The object of the pull is to drag the sled a full 250 feet without stalling. This year they changed the venue to a different farm about 4 miles from where it's been held previously. The pull is more challenging here as there is an upgrade on the track. I'll be adding more gigapans of the pull including one 360 panorama. |
