An Easter Egg hunt on my front porch. There are three dozen eggs 'hidden', as well as two Easter bunnies, two Mainzelmännchen, one Eeyore, one Rubber Duckie, and if you look really closely you'll find the reflection of the photographer pointing to one of the hidden eggs.
Happy Easter and Happy Hunting!!! [Permission for media use is hereby granted.] |

For my hundredth Gigapan I decided to reshoot one of my earliest panoramas (http://www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=1877). Once again I broke out the tele-converter lens for my Canon S5-IS, but this time I allowed enough overlap between adjacent photos in order to get rid of the vignetting in the original. This one is also my first stitch with the new Gigapan Stitcher 0.3.1820 - worked smoothly for me. |

An ice laden limb has fallen on the bed of this pickup truck on 12th Street, just west of Fort St. in Hays, Kansas, December 11, 2007. Town cleanup crew removed it about 15 minutes later - nasty dent in the truck remains. |

This is the view to the west at the intersection of Main and Seventh Streets in Hays, Kansas. Prominently featured are the Ellis County Historical Society and the Brunswick Antique Mall. The real reason I shot this, however was to capture the Felten Sculpture "Street Singer" near the center of the panorama. |

On May 4, 2007 a massive tornado devastated the small town of Greensburg, Kansas. This display highlights some of the debris that collected in one of Greensburg's tourist attractions - the worlds largest hand-dug well. Read more about this exhibit at: http://www.rushcounty.org/Greensburg/ |

Grain elevators are also known as "Kansas Skyscrapers" - I'd love to get up top of the elevator to take a Gigapan panorama of the downtown area, but when I inquired at the office they said it would be impossible for insurance reasons. @$%*#! litigious society... |
