Full 360 interior of state capitol in Lincoln, Nebraska. 450 images in a 30 by 15 grid .. each image is a 2 second exposure. |
|
Taken with a Canon G9 camera mounted on a Gigapan Beta unit.
Stitched this image in two halves and then spliced together with photoshop in the middle. Worked with two 5GB+ Photoshop RAW files. About 1.3" second shutter with corrected Color Balance and Exposure settings. Focus was not fixed so there are a few grid squares where they are blurry. I was surprised to see the detail this shows. Know I know that I can take LARGE 360 Panoramas and stitch them together. NCAA Div I Men's Hockey (http://www.muredhawks.com/). The Ohio State University versus Miami University (OH), December 12, 2009 at the Goggin Ice Center, Oxford, Ohio. Final score: Miami 4, OSU 2.
Captured as 2 sets of 14 wide x 6 high (84 total) images w/ a Canon G9 (ISO800, f4.5). Final image size is 39454 x 12458 pixels. Challenges were exposure (ice versus crowd) and action. I used dynamic range imaging and merged two stitched images for exposure (-2 on crowd for ice, +2 on ice for crowd). There are a lot of interesting features about this image since the time span allowed for a goal, a fight (8 penalties), and a media time out. At least one player appears in 3 places. |

This is my first attempt at using my Epic 100 indoors and the first time doing a 360 deg pano. This is shot inside the Nebraska State Capitol on Friday May 8, 2009. I used a Canon Digital Rebel XT with a 50mm F1.4 lens. The settings were 1/80 @ F1.6 @ an ISO 400 setting. Anyone have any sugestions please feel free to pass tehm my way. since this was a double first. 216 shots, 8 high by 27 around. |

Hanging out in the kitchen/dining room. Canon G9 ISO 80, 0.3s @ f3.5 (16 wide x 5 high). Camera set to autofocus to compensate for lack of dof.
How many cats are there? (I count 24) |

2009 Conejo Valley annual Gem and Mineral Show. This was done with a Canon S5 is and the Gigapan Epic 100. I set the ISO to 400 to keep the exposure resonalble, but this still resulted in a number of image blurs. This was taken from the balcony area overlooking what is normally a basketball court. |
