This panorama is a combination of 9 shots taken on my Canon 40D with a 200mm Zoom. I was in this location on Dundry hill in order to get a good long lens shot of Brunel's Clifton Bridge (1864) with the old Severn Bridge (1964) behind it in good visibility. I took the other shots for an experiment and have now uploaded and stitched them. Taken from the delightful village of Orta on Lake Orta the monastery island and a gigantic "trojan" horse . OK I cheated a little bit: the horse is on a floating tethered platform which, because of the wind and waves, had moved by the time the camera came to it so now the horse is wading!!
