The Mississippi is mostly ice-free right now, but this backwater has filled with ice floes. This is a false-HDR pano from single Canon RAW source photos. They were batch processed in Photomatix, then massaged in Photoshop. |

Volunteers of America SALT High School is an adventure and environmental based alternative high school near downtown Minneapolis. The "Write Me Up" shanty is a chalk board and magnetic poetry cube, where students can ask questions they have for the community.
This image has voids, possibly caused by the cold or by insufficient delay between captures. I still think it's worth posting. |

The plane is designed for pilots with a Sport Pilot flying license http://tinyurl.com/yb62orv which is easier to obtain than a regular pilot's license. The Flight Design CTSW excels as a flight trainer or air touring aircraft. |

The Timberman Triathlon near Grand Rapids, Minnesota, is held in one of the most beautiful locations in the country -- Ruttger's Resort on beautiful Siseebakwet (Sugar) Lake. I was a little late setting up this panorama; just after I started, they called all the contestants down to the lake for the start. I have some strange combinations of body parts as a result, and acres of unattended bikes. See also http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=28302
