I started to see where I was in much the same way I see a lot of other beautiful, flawed things, in that many of the same problems that condemned this place were exactly what made it that much more valuable an opportunity demanding to be seized. HDR, tonemapped in Photomatix. Completely unretouched otherwise except for very minor color correction and cropping (more for printing than anything else). Essentially my first perfect stitch; thankful I picked up the G11 for proper nodal point alignment, even if the Gigapan Pro comes out next month. Limited edition archival run of 10 roughly 30" x 90" prints. ...no, it wasn't an Insane Asylum (as the myth goes)-- just a Nuke missle site from the Cuban Missle Crisis era, decommissioned in 1979.
