May I introduce Monica, a local artist with quite a personality.
I have been wanting to take this panorama for some time and finally had time to spend Saturday in San Antonio... little did I know that I would meet a very vibrant lady such as Miss Monica. As usual, this was taken with my Leica D-Lux 3 and as always, check out this gigapan in Google Earth via the GE link on the pano page. |

Larger version of the South LA pan. A lot more detail and just about crashed my computer stitching it. Sorry it's a little overexposed. |

This amazing tree is located in Santa Monica, on a property overlooking Pacific Palisades and the ocean. To get an idea of the size, compare it to the ful size RV in the lower right of the panorama.
It is on private property, so if you go looking for it, please be respectful. |

Panoramic view of Los Angeles from southwest side of the city between 110 and 10 freeways (10 pictured). Picture was taken from ladder-accessable portions of a tall building by a photographer who's afraid of heights.

Shot with a gigapan mount from the middle of the Santa Monica beach -- almost 360 degrees. This one has some post-production edits/corrections -- can you find them? |
|
Shot from Kenneth Hahn Park facing towards the Hollywood Hills. The whole basin from downtown to the sea is visible. |

Quick view on Malibu lake. No tripod, the post treatment was difficult because no panoramic head... |
