- Canon EOS 5d (full frame) ISO 100 f/10 1/200sec
- 200mm fixed focal length - pixSize 4386 x 2912 - vov 5° - 37rows by 9columns (333pix) (190° by 50°) slightly cropped in photoshop - i use a manfrotto pano head on a Gitzo tripod and shoot row by row manually (which btw is about 5 times the weight but also twice as fast and a lot less shaky and a lot sharper than gigapanos taken with the gigapan robot and a Canon G9) GigaPan Stitcher 0.4.3865. i am absolutely impressed by the quality of the stitching. you hardly find any stitching errors - even in the cables that cross the middle lake. (of course it's really important to do the parallax adjustments on your pano head as well as possible) hophi |

Great geology, biology, and weather. Who could ask for anything more? |

Once again I didn't catch this at the best time of day. Nonetheless this is a spectacular spot, high above Donner Lake. Granite of the Sierra Nevada Range is rounded into domes by glacial scouring and pierced by tunnels of the Union Pacific Railroad. If you look closely there are a number of climbers scaling these faces, as well. |

Lago di Montespluga is a storage lake at the italian side of the Spluegen Pass.
Because of weather and ice it looks like northern fiords. |

Started at 7:54P and ending at 7:57P, we shot this panorama quickly so we could rush down to the main stage and get the panorama of the audience before Dave Matthews Band. Umphrey's McGee is on the Main Stage in this panorama.

Between the coastal Albanian cities of Vlore and Himare is the famous Llogara Pass, a winding alpine road, rising to 1,027m and overlooking the Albanian riviera.
In this 360 degree panorama, the beaches down to the left are mostly obscured by the passing clouds, but you still get a sense of the intimate roads and great altitude through which you must pass. About our trip: http://www.michaelhussey.com/albania |
