Taken during Memorial Day weekend from the new Nichols Bridgeway at the north end of the art institute on Monroe street. The center of the image shows the Jay Priztker outdoor pavilion in Millenium Park. It was very windy on the bridge! |

View from Stanley Park at dusk.
The Main Media Centre (MMC) for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games is located within the Canada Place complex and the Vancouver Convention Centre on the city’s downtown waterfront. Canada Place houses the Main Press Centre, while the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) is located in the Vancouver Convention Centre (West Building). |

This is a hand made pano from the viewpoint in the Oriental Perl Tower at 263m high (863 ft). It is composed of 36 photos taken with a Canon EOS 50D.
Probably I will be back in some years and compare the skyline ;-) Best viewed in Google Earth. |

La Defense is a modern structure resembling the looks of the Arc the Triomphe. This Panorama was made from the top of it. In the distance the original Arc can be seen, as well as the Eiffel Tower and more. |

View from the observation floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, facing roughly west. |

Shot from the 20th floor of an apartment block, the temple in the foreground is the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, which contrasts nicely against the skyscrapers in the background that make up the financial district along Shenton Way. I got the white balance setting wrong on this, it should have been sunny, but was left at tungsten from an earlier non-Gigapan shot.
Here's the temple from the front, although passing traffic means it's hard to get a really nice shot of the facade. http://www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=16512 |

Shot from Tour Montparnasse with the Eiffel Towercentered. Other famous locations such as the Arc or the Sacre Coeur are visible in the distance as well. The clouds that day were a little troublesome, which was unfortunate for the lighting (and transistions between photos) in the shot. |

Mellon Square near Grant Street in downtown Pittsburgh. The central brick building is the Omni William Penn hotel. My attempt to hide the sun behind a skyscraper failed (that sucker moves faster than you'd think!) |
