Ths is an 8-shot handheld panorama looking SSW from near the summit of Mauna Kea. It was taken in December 2008. There are several telescopes visible in this image; from left to right they are: California Institute of Technology 10.4m Submillimeter Telescope (CSO) James Clerk Maxwell Telescope Submillimeter Array Subaru Telescope W.M. Keck Observatory NASA Infrared Telescope Facility Unfortunately the last image doesn't line up too well due to the handheld nature of the shots. |
