This is the same as my other pano with the exception that the good South Pole doc (grannydoc) went to the trouble of drawing in each of the constellations that are visible in the sky. You can see the same pano without the stars drawn in at my other pano:

This is a gigapan from atop the car at a water hole in Addo Elephant Park, Eastern Cape, South Africa. The elephants not only spent nearly an hour at the hole; they kept disabusing the warthogs of the notion that they could possibly share the water hole. Lots of trunks with menacing gestures directed right at the very thirsty warthogs, who couldn't bear to give up. |
