This is a vista point about 40 minutes hiking up the Fernkloof Nature Reserve in the West Cape, South Africa. This nature reserve has stunning biodiversity and, in fact, this part of the Cape is its own world biome, replicated nowhere else on earth in terms of plant life. Truly stunning. |

View from the south rim at 8:30am on March 30, 2009. Shot with G9. Batteries died two thirds the way through, so I had to manually stitch the two parts. |

This is a conference organized by the now renowned potato farmer Angus Buchan who believes intently in God. He tells his story with passion and has inspired many to come closer to God and commit their lives to Him. His bible based teachings and encouragement to live our lives dedicated to God are both inspiring and uplifting. The film "Faith Like Potatoes" based on his life story and how he came to believe and follow God is truly a must see. He lives and demonstrates his faith in all he does. He has held a number of might Men's Conferences as an annual event. The audience for 2009 was 200 000 men. Camping is rustic on a field where Angus Buchan and his sons this year planted grass not maize. The details regarding the conference and the sheer enormity of the event are available on http://www.mmc09.co.za |
