This 180 degree panorama was shot from the Rye Beach Club and sweeps across the Rye Beach area, past Star Island, and finishes up along the rocks along Route 1A. |

This is a quick pano of my Star Wars christmas tree. I will try to reshoot to get better depth of field.
All the Star Wars ornaments are Hallmark except for the Logo at the top. |

The classic HK Island skyline at dusk, with a pesky boat that appears again and again and again and again in the shot...and gets cut in half on the last time on the right that it appears. Completely unintentional... The sun was setting quite quickly, but the balance seems quite uniform.
For a gigapan of the same skyline at night http://share.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=17458 |

Star Wars themed diorama at Legoworld 2009 in Zwolle, the Netherlands |
|
This is the largest Star Wars model produced by Lego with over 5000 pieces. Styled on Han Solo's infamous smuggling starship, this is the Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon. The Corellian Enginering Corporation YT-130 freighter is recreated in every detail.
The model stands at 33 inches (84cms) long, 22 inches (56cms) wide and 8 inches (21cms) tall. This model took me over 21 hours to build and it was worth every minute. Apologies for the over exposure on the right hand side. |

On this windy night I shot image #3 of my Manhattan Beach Pier with Christmas Lights GigaPan series. The exposures were a bit long and so there was movement in the strings of lights. Fortunatly it was cold so there were only a few people out to get in the way. The lights on the horizon are ships. Made with 60 shots, Nikon P5100. ©John Post |
