The Rautispitz is 2283 meters high, and roughly 1800 meters above the villages Naefels and Netstal. From the valley it looks like a very impressive mountain, if you walk up from the Obersee it is a long but steady climb through meadows. |

This panorama shows the view over the lake of Zurich from Herrliberg in Switzerland. The places on the other side of the lake are Oberrieden und Thalwil.
Since the pictures where taken on a quite windy morning, there are some stitching flaws some of the trees. This is the first usable panorama which I took with the GigaPan robotic head. Works like a charm! |

Panorama taken with 44 shots freehand with Canon 20D and 70-200@70mm very early in the morning after an onset of winter in early august. Taken from the Gornergrat mountain railway station, which we reached with a private special train leaving Zermatt before 5 am. ice cold air and fantastic atmosphere. |

Wengen situated in the Swiss Jungfrau region has a lot of summer activities and is famous for its winter sports activities. On Kleine Scheidegg the world-famous Lauberhorn run is an absolute must for all experienced skiers and snowboarders.
