The public marina is part of the Lakeshore Park, a two mile long strip of land on the South shore of East Lake Tohopekaliga in Saint Cloud, Florida. Abundant water fowl and aquatic life such as fish, turtles, frogs and even numerous alligators thrive in the lake. The park serves as the venue for any number of civic celebrations as well as offering the public a nice respite from the hectic commercial areas a mile South.
The entire area was renovated about 3 years ago, so it is still in nice shape. As part of the renovation the marina was expanded to it's current size. About this image: - Stitched together from 390 12 Megapixel images taken with a Canon Powershot G9. - Yes, the horizon is crooked. Darn! The camera, on it's tripod were placed precariously atop a fence post, high enough that I couldn't safely see the leveling bubbles without risking a tumble to the docks below. |

This is the end of the Garganta trail, the first sight one has of the massive Union waterfall at Iguazu. |

This was supposed to be a 360, but the stitcher software gave me no end of troubles, look for the North part that matches up with this half. The historic fort is a popular attraction in St. Augustine, Florida, the oldest city i the U.S. dating back to 1565. The old fort was controlled by Spanish, British and American forces over the years. |

This was originally taken on the first full day of summer but two photos were corrupt. i tried to just take those two photos over again but the stitcher didn't like the different pixels. So I retook the entire panorama. This shows the chicago river as seen from the northside river walkway. The Trump tower stands in the center of the photo, along with the Michigan Avenue bridge, while some of the boat tours are loading people on the south bank of the river |

A handheld (!) panorama taken around 3pm on 31 Dec 07 from the Southeastern Harbour Bridge Pylon lookout.
There are a few badly stitched bits (missing top of bridge, city buldings crooked), but it was hard enough work as it was :) 350 images in final from over 400 shot |

The English Lake District on a beautiful winter's day. A view over Grasmere and Rydal Water in the English Lake District.
For those passer-bys inquiring about the Gigapan camera mount while I was taking an earlier panorama, the 360° panorama of Grasmere taken from near the lake has now had to be split into two due to a stitching problem (possibly caused by sun flare). The Grasmere panoramas are now being uploaded to this site. |

180+ degree panorama from a hill just south of Stockton, Kansas. The first time I shot this the lighting wasn't as good and it failed to stitch. This one turned out much better. Want a challenge? Count the pumpjacks; yup, this is oil country. |

Panorama of the High Tech Campus Eindhoven (The Netherlands). Reduced to 1/4 of the original size. A large complex of schools, universities and private research facilities. The large pond attracts a lot of birds. Even a cormoran, far away from its normal habitat. Can you find him?
Canon 5D, Automated Panohead, Telescopic Pole 7 meters high. Total angle 120 Degrees. |

Ksamil is a small coastal village 15 minutes south of Sarande and just north of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Butrinti. There are a number of small hotels and restaurants on the mainland all serving fresh fish from the local waters. Three are also four small islands you can easily swim to (or hitch a cheap boat ride to) which each have small bars where you can get a drink. A beautiful little oasis with a lot of potential -- be sure to check out Ksamil the next time you are in Albania.
