On the mid-coast of Maine lies Camden, a fishing town and popular tourist destination. This photo was taken on a foggy afternoon and I wasn't sure how it would come out but I am pleased with the results. Taken August 21, 2009. |

Rock Springs at Kelly Park, officially in Apopka Florida just Northwest of Orlando is just one of the many beautiful natural springs in the central part of the state. The clear cold water offers visitors an invigorating break from the hot summer days. The spring issues forth from a cave from deep underground and has such a high flow rate that it has created a comfortably wide stream that meanders for probably about a half a mile. Tubing, snorkling, floating or just swimming down the run is obviously the number one activity at the park. Another favorite pastime is seaching the stream bed for fossilized shark teeth, prehistoric remnants of when the entire area was at the bottom of a shallow sea. Pack a lunch if you come as the nearest good services are quite a few miles away. Tube rentals are available on the road outside the park. Hiking trails, a campground and sinkholes are also found at the park. |

Little Corona Beach in Corona del Mar. I'd like to personally thank the men who didn't seem to get why no one else was standing in front of the camera. I knew I was getting into a tough to stitch situation with the time of day involved. Still, I like how it turned out. Now if only the Beta Imager could be updated to shoot in rows instead of columns, I'd have a much more usefull device. Such is the life of a beta unit. |

San Francisco's most iconic attractions lie along the northern waterfront, from bustling Fisherman's Wharf to the stately Golden Gate Bridge, a marvel of engineering and deco design. Golden Gate Park offers museums, glades, and miles of walking and cycling paths, and the nearby Haight-Ashbury and Inner Sunset neighbourhoods are crammed with places to eat and shop. Head to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, in one of the city's signature pieces of contemporary architecture, which anchors a collection of shopping, entertainment, and exhibition spaces in the South of Market area. You can catch a baseball game the home of the Giants, AT&T Park, with an intimate old-time feel and (from the upper decks) views out over the Bay. |
