Stereographic projection of the previous ( http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=5282 ) equirectangular image. The virtual camera does not point exactly to -90 deg pitch because the building would be more distorted due to the proximity. Instead the camera points to slightly left-upward from that direction. This reduces the distortion on the building and slightly (on the edge of noticability) increases the distortion of the "little planeth"

Big chimney and Bridge (Megyeri bridge also known as the Colbert Bridge). View in Google Earth, set show buildings on and set about 50% transparency! The lights on the photo and the 3D modell of them are perfectly aligned....
