Thanks to Straub Construction Co, Inc and to Salina Parks and Recreation for the opportunity to shoot this image. Construction has been progressing steadily this winter in spite of single digit temperatures and repeated snow storms. Now workers (and photographers) are taking advantage of this break in the weather.

A tough stitch - not complete or aligned at the 360; a couple of random blendings and remnants. Stitching failed with an earlier version. Will be interesting to see the uploaded projection. 1st with Canon SX110IS
This image a follow up to - http://www.gigapan.org/gigapans/36662/ - taken 2 months ago. That taken with a Canon SD850; this with a Canon SX110. The SX110 is an upgrade - thanks GigaPan!

The newly fallen snow adds a finishing touch to this nicely decorated, classically styled house. Dawn was in progress to a greater degree than I realized as the image progressed, in general it is a bit overexposed. I started a reshoot of the image but the robot froze up – the ‘thumb’ stopped working and said it was disconnected. No problem when back at the house.

Having been painted many years ago, this sign was exposed 20 years ago when the adjacent building was torn down for a parking lot. It was coated for preservation it but it has faded since and, being in direct sunlight, it's days are limited.
