This building is owned by the Townsend Historical Society. It was used to make barrels before they used metal hoops. See the history at http://www.thecooperage.com/history/index.html

This site is a project to replace the covered bridge for our small town in Massachusetts. I plan on hooking this into my web site that is following the whole bridge replacement project at www.pepperellinfo.net/coveredbridge/
They are currently building the new piers in the river.
I wanted to try to take a 2nd panorama a foot over to try an Anaglyph, a photo that shows 3d with red/green glasses, but they moved some equipment. The GigaPan has a very wide range of distances, so auto focus was on.

This is conservation land near Heald Pond in the town of Pepperell in northen Massachusetts. The orchard isn't active, and it shows. The fall foliage color of the maple trees to the right is striking, but is threatened in the long run by climate and other changes.

I've got to remember to verify exposure lock. I had to tweak the sky images some. Most of the green is evergreen trees and oak that turn later.

Most of the green is evergreen trees and oak that turns later. Yes, the water in this view is all of the same resevior, which forced the moving of towns when built.

This GigaPan was taken with an Olympus e510 (custom bracket) and the 40-150mm kit lens set at 100 (200mm equivalent). This was taken at almost peak foliage color. The green is evergreen trees and oak that turns dirty brown later.

My first outdoor Gigapan - It was supposed to be 10 columns, but I ran out of memory. Theres lots of moss and a few mushrooms. Canon S50 on a GigaPan beta unit, with a few mounting bracket modifications.
