This is image #2 that I shot (NikonP5100,12mp and GigaPan system) inside my Gallery at 809 Manhattan Ave in Manhattan Beach, California.
This shot is made up of 189 images (7rowsx26columns), it took several hours to stitch it all togethor.
The view is to the North and shows some of the variety of images and sizes we carry. On the leftside wall (by the desk below the large 8ft long panorama) are my little One-of-a-Kind Hand Colored B&W Infrared mini-panorama photos that I shoot with the Hasselblad XPan camera. All the Color images I shoot with the Fuji617 Panorama camera which has been my specialty for the past 20 years. I have been selling my photography in the retail market for 34 years, the John Post Gallery has been open for 13 years and is a fixture in downtown Manhattan Beach. When in the South Bay, don't forget to visit, I'm there on Saturdays.

This is #1 of two GigaPan images I made last weekend inside the gallery. Made up of 192 (NikonP5100) shots it took quite awhile to stitch togethor (hours longer than I expected). The 180degree view is from the front window and shows the variety of images and sizes available. The John Post Gallery has been open for 13 years and is a fixture in downtown Manhattan Beach, CA. I have been selling my photography in the retail market for 34 years. This is another of image of the new building going up near the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. You can see the Staples Center marquee, the Hotel Figueroa signs, the Harbor (110) Freeway and the Mural on the LA Philharmonic building. Note the flag flying from the construction crane in the distance. You can even see a bit of the homeless encampment among the trees near the freeway.

This GigaPan (# 1 of three) was taken Jan. 18, 2008 on a balmy day in LA.
I wanted to get a shot of the new building going up near the Staples Center in downtown before it was completed on the outside. I found this vantage point with the palm trees, which I think gives a nice environmental setting. You can see cars on the Harbor Freeway (110 Hwy) and the mural on one of the buildings next to it.

The view is South to Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes Peninsula and Catalina Island.
The new moon shined above the ocean while the Christmas lights on the pier glowed.
By time the scene was complete it was dark, making for a few long exposures

A 180 degree view, looking south to Hermosa Beach, the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Catalina Island.
Trying to keep the people out while shooting this big of an image always comes with some difficulty. Made up of 105 images, it is one of my largest to date.

This is #3 of my New Years Eve shots.
Every New Years Eve the City of Hermosa Beach has live music on the Promenade and crowds gather to bring in the New Year. The low lighting conditions can make for some difficult exposures for the camera, especially as the batteries get low.
