Taken from the High Point State Park of New Jersey. Roughly, the border of New Jersey and New York State is a line from the center of left side to about the 3/4 of the top side, with the lower part in New Jersey.

The summit of Hogback Mountain, VT, on Route 9.
A skyline view of colorful endless forests stretching in solid tracts from the White Mountain of New Hampshire to the Backshires of Massachusetts.
This is a relatively low resolution photo taken by hands. A gigapan was made from the same place at the same time but with too many uneven exposure spots to be uploaded here. The fast moving clouds failed that gigapan photo.

The same view taken in summer was previously uploaded. This one is taken in the fall, showing many color-turning trees.

An interstate lake straddling the border of states of New Jersey and New York, it has a length about seven miles (12 km) running from south to north.
Approximately, the state line bisects the lake. This photo was taken very close to the border. Roughly, the 3/5 of the photo in the left side is in New Jersey while the 2/5 on the right side is in the state of New York.
Although named Greenwood, the lake has little green in the fall. The colorful autumn foliage is beautiful and this 2.7GB gigapan can only capture a small portion of the scenery along the west side of the lake shore.
