By embedding panoramas on a site other than www.gigapan.org, you agree to the following terms. If you do not understand or you do not agree, you may not embed.

• You understand and agree to the standard Gigapan Terms of Service.

• You will comply with any requirements or restrictions imposed on panoramas by their respective owners. Remember, Gigapan doesn’t own the images—Gigapan users do.

• You will strive to preserve notice of authorship and copyright on all Gigapan content and legitimately derived works.

• When embedding a panorama that you didn't create, please get permission of the panorama's author beforehand. (We're working on a way for authors to be able to grant blanket permission for embedding.)

• In ALL cases, you are solely responsible for making use of Gigapan content in compliance with the content owners’ requirements or restrictions.

• You understand that there may be objectionable content in embedded panoramas, and you further understand and agree that we have the right to restrict or remove content solely at our discretion.

• You will remove within 24 hours any Gigapan user’s content or other personal information that the user asks you to remove.

• You will not use or provide Gigapan content in any manner or for any purpose that violates any law or regulation, any right of any person, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, rights of privacy, or rights of personality.

• You will not use Gigapan as a generic image hosting service for banner advertisements, graphics, etc.

• You will not sell, lease, or sublicense Gigapan content or access thereto, unless by prior agreement with the content owner and with Carnegie Mellon University.

• We reserve the right to restrict access to content.

• We reserve the right to alter these Terms at any time. If we do change these terms in a material and significant way, we will attempt to let you know by email.
